What you can expect in a day in this role: 

In this permanent part time role, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Monitor the accuracy of financial transactions and records and compliance with business procedures.
• Identify financial and system discrepancies and resolve according to level of responsibility or feedback to appropriate management.
• Monitor internal account usage and investigate anomalies
• Complete routine records and reports relating to trading and revenue
• Accurately roll the 'end of day' process & handle cash/daily balance
• Monitor daily upgrades and VIP services requirements
• General reception duties including the check in and check out of guests, reservations, guest services and phone enquiries.

What you will bring to the role: 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Experience with hotel reservations software RMS preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in a front office role or customer service is preferred
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• A flexible approach to working hours over a 7-day roster including weekends, public holidays and evening shifts

 An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
