What you can expect in a day in this role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of our hotel operations, to ensure optimal guest experience, financial performance, community and team engagement.  This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the resort's reputation and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of dedicated professionals across various departments.
  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment where every team member feels valued and empowered.
  • Maintain and improve operational efficiency while upholding luxury standards.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, stakeholders, and the local community.

 

What you will ideally bring to the role:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in luxury hospitality management, a passion for creating and continually build excellence in guest service, and the ability to inspire and motivate a passionate diverse team. Along with this, you'll also bring:

  • 5 years+ of experience in luxury hotel, experiential property or resort, senior management
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance
