What you can expect in a day in the role:

As a Kitchen Night Steward Supervisor will responsible for supervising, training, and coordinating Kitchen Attendants across our night shift. You will work on a nightly shift commencing at 5 pm through to 1 am, with an early start and finish time one day a week of 4:30 pm-12:30 am for a weekly team meeting with the day shift supervisor.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure all kitchens are maintained and sanitised in accordance with business requirements across
  • Responsible for your kitchen duties and tasks and maintenance across the shift.
  • Assist and coordinate the Kitchen Attendants team and nightly tasks.
  • Coordinate with executive chef and day shift supervisor for work requirements
  • Ensure all products and chemicals are appropriately used in line with industry standards.
  • Ensure staff adhere to proper work health and safety expectations.
  • Help assess, coach, and manage Kitchen Attendants to ensure efficiencies of the team.

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks. 

 

What will you bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role in a kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow and enforce kitchen operations and sanitation practices to a high standard across a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work night shifts. (5:00 pm-1:00 am)
  • A current driver's licence is desirable.
  • Unlimited work rights in Australia.
