Do you have an eye for detail and an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders? We have a rare opportunity to join Wrest Point’s highly experienced Purchasing Team.

The Storeperson Grade 3 role is a full-time position and plays a key role in receiving, storing, and distributing goods across the Wrest Point property. You will also show great care and expertise in handling fragile items such as glassware and valuable items in our Cellars.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager and working closely with our Supply Supervisor and Stores team, you will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks such as goods inwards, adhering to food safety requirements, conducting regular stocktakes and assist with stock transfers and movement throughout the property. You will also support our bars & restaurants by providing adequate stock levels for their busy service periods.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with the monitoring of stock levels and maintain records
• Receive all incoming goods and deliveries of stock to outlets
• Process a wide variety of order requests from internal departments
• Maintain loading bay and stores areas whilst ensuring a safe working environment
• Maintain and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Have input and help implement change to make all departments more efficient

What you will bring to the role:

• Previous experience in a Stores or Warehousing role (desirable)
• Experience in Hospitality, Customer Service or similar role (desirable)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and procedures
• Energetic and positive outlook
• Willingness to learn and improve
• Have a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service

Must have current or willing to obtain a forklift licence.
